Our Courses
27 holes, no less. Located on the edge of Dandenong Ranges and 50 minutes from Melbourne CBD, Beaconhills Golf Course is set in a picturesque bushland location. Known for its rolling hills, iconic lakes and famed kangaroo population, Beaconhills presents an enjoyable challenge to all levels of golfers.
The Old Course
The Old Course at Beaconhills, was originally designed in 1930 by Dick Banks – one of the first PGA professionals in Australia. Old Course highlights include dramatic undulations, in a natural bushland setting with kangaroos as keen spectators. The greens, though on the smaller side, are beautifully constructed and sloped – a challenge for any golfer.
Stoney Creek Course
Starting on the formerly known ‘Lakes’ front 9, and onto the Old Course front 9 – the Stoney Creek Course is designed around natural dams with Stoney Creek running through the course. This course has some of Beaconhills most picturesque golf holes, including the iconic 4th hole. This course has clear risk and reward holes that can quickly go from birdie opportunities to double bogeys – players be aware!
Red Hill Course
Starting on the Old Course back 9 and then onto the ‘Lakes’ 9, this course runs along Red Hill Road and Cardinia Reservoir. On the 8th and 9th it’s not unusual to see emu’s across the fence. The first 4 holes are some of the most challenging on the course, but once you conquer these you’ll be set for a good round!
